BAD Gasket. Now radiator coolant leaked into engine & require major over haul. And I just changed my engine oil + radiator coolant. How could this had happen. I am sure not going to change that gear box any time soon. And there goes my last POST for OCTOBER with a sad news.

Its raining & I cant play (exercise) outside. I know lets art attack. Since I have left over 3D stickers. That should be enough to cover the Satria Neo fuel cover.

1) Cut the adhesive paper into a square

2) Apply sticker over the cover and push out any air bubbles trapped in between

3) Cut away the excess

Things You Do To Remember Uni Time

Haa I miss my uni life. Was going through boxes of my old stuff my mom ask to take back to Penang else she will throw it away for me. Found my uni car sticker. This sure brings back memories. Have to preserve this. So I went to my auto bling2 shop (haha I made up the name) and the shop owner suggest it is laminated. Now I can paste & pull it off clean when ever I want to. Cool eh.

Arrrgh We Could Have Won The Match

My office held the futsal tourney at our usual place. My team are all prepared. Weeks prior (even during fasting month) we go for training. The match was tough. We did our best and we are the 4th place over all. Ok lah. We won the title best improved team this time. Hehehe ada voucher.

Injuries..... lots of it. You guys have not seen my bruised shoulder yet. It only appear tonight as I am blogging this. Sakit (painful) I tell you.

Still I have come to work the next week. Else I can not get the winning voucher which is passed to my boss.

Mom & Dad Anniversary

Alhamdulillah. I manage to puasa this whole month of Ramadan. It is not an easy task despite I had done it for a long time. Puasa is not just about abstaining from eating. It is also about not looking at the wrong things for example (u know what I mean), doing bad things, lying, missing your prayers, etc. Only god knows how well I do. Pray the results is good.

Top most is a picture of my family on our way to the mosque. My youngest sister is not here & my dad have left for the masjid wayyyy earlier the rest of us. Next is the view of the jemaah in my township. Semua kenal? (All I know?) Well almost. Some friends & neighbors are not here, maybe they celebrate raya else where in their other kampung.

The part I am waiting for, family photo. Simple jer this year. My dad sure will not smile one. Dono lah why he look soo masam (sad). Hope he is ok.

My Neo Now is Black... Well 1/2 Black Actually

Inspired from reading a blog http://rossobloggy.blogspot.com/ that you do not have to punch a hole in your wallet to paint a car. So I started this work in July and finish it this afternoon.

The tops ~ Front Hood, Rear Bonnet & Roof are all stickers.
Front ~ Bumper, Left & Right Fender are all painted flat black (Can Spray)
Back ~ Original factory red color

I still have the R3 body kit. IT might be painted the same (flat black) but that project it likely to take place only after RAYA (around September).

Things to improve ~ I have to work out a better sending technique + masking. Current results still have room for improvements.

Ohhh and selamat berpuasa.

PPR Track Day 2

All the waiting is finally paid off. It is race day again at Dato Sagor. It was yesterday and the cloud does not look promising. Rain always hamper races like this. And it did rained later during the day. Awwwww... But I manage to get some good rounds in the morning session. Till I was warned that I push my car too hard & it is dangerous. The brand new Prada's rubber tore to shreds.

Was advised to take the car to the near by tyre shop. I have a tyre screw stuck & it will not open. At the shop... bad news. The thread on the screw is gone. Had to get it replaced. The hub, knuckle had to be removed. What a tedious job. Lucky the shop had a spare taken from a junk Lancer that I can used.

When I got back a helicopter perform an emergency landing at the track. Race had to be stopped due to safely.

Learn that strong wind was not good for helicopter of this size. Once the rain stopped & weather is sunny. The helicopter left & the track is ours again.

Over all this was not my best race day. But it is ok. I can still keep my good Prada for next race.

I have worked in DELL for 5 years & soon (Insyallah getting my 3rd promotion). The longest company I served so far. Thank you DELL for the great work opportunity here. the event was help at Equotorial on 9th DEC 2010. Conically DELL 1st office was setup in the hotel itself back in 1995.

Only 2 upgrade done that day in DD Porsche workshop. Lighten Jasma Crank Pulley + Pivot Start Button. A day earlier I had the refurbish absorbers + R3 coil over installed. Hopefully in 2011 will have another workshop session. Thinking of another performance part.... Wonder what that would be.

Last night we had a fest at Taman Broom. Lets just say we celebrate the exam results which is due in 2 months from now (we all know we are going to pass it).

We had Celup2 (locally known as Lok-Lok). It's a simple dish where we have fish cakes of various kinds on a skewer. Dip it into the boiling water & eat it with a hot sauce. Aside from fish cakes other ingredients are prawn, squid, hard boil eggs & various vegetables.

Technically you pay what you eat. Cheapest is RM1 per stick and the most expensive is RM5.

Last week end Farah came by for a visit. She was suprise seeing I am driving a SAGA BLM. Explain to her my financial situation. She blurt out that I was lucky that I can still afford to drive.

Alhamdulillah selesaisudah ibadah puasa. 1 Syawal berayalah saya. Tahun ini raya kampung style. Meaning betul2 kampung style. Tak de TV (tipu ler tu... ada HP CSL), tak de radio (tiap2 kereta ade radio) dan yang paling menduga kesebaran tak de ais (wei bukan beli 2-3 bantal ke hari tu)

Its National Day & I have to work. If I count back since I work here in DELL I missed all 5 years of Merdeka parade.

This year Merdeka parade is special because it is done indoors for the 1st time in Stadium Bukit Jalil. How I wish I can go.

So we all at work plan something special that day. All dress up in our traditional wear. Selamat Hari Merdeka to all Malaysians. We R not there to celebrate with you all but our Malaysia spirits is with you.

Hey all it is almost the end of July. Finally I have something to write here.

Attended a monthly event run by the TransMy members in Penang. This time we had it on Friday, 23rd July 2010 at McD Farlim, Penang.

The very Next day our TransMy team in KL took part in "Malaysia International Toy Fair"

A 2 days event held in MidValley from 24th - 25th July 2010.

TransMy had its booth full most of the time. 2nd day was the highlight where member Ryukaze run a kitbashing workshop.

CREWS MEGA TT in Cherating, Pahang

It was a blast. My days off beginning 9th July till 13th was well worth it. Organizers from KL & Pahang put a huge efforts to pull this off. Participants & Organizers alike work closely to make this event a success.

Just look at the number of SATRIA NEO in this convoy. We had to separate into 2-3 groups not to cause any problem while on the road.

Spend shit loads of money there. But hey I need the holiday. I made new friends along the way. You all keep in touch with me ok. Add me to your FaceBook contacts.

I plan to organize such event my self 1 day. I think I can pull this off too.

It's to be expected. I burn rubber I need replacements. Lesson learned (in a good way). Have to have many sets possible of spare Tyre for such events.

The looks of the old one ~ badly scaled, bald and worn up. No good as spares any more. Just throw it away.

My Neo gets all 4 Tyre change. After much shopping and suggestions in my FaceBook. I got myself Kenda Kaiser (KR20). Thread pattern are nice. More reading about it can be found here.

Bought size 204/45/R16. There was a 2nd hand TOYO Proxes but it is a 15". Book it from the shop ownwer. That is hopefully will be my spare for the next Track Day which is tentatively planned this coming October 2010.

I call up a few close friends here. Knowing them who are also Petrol-heads ow was it Motor-heads. Basically they love motor sports too. Dato Sagor track is preferred but it is too far away for travel + cost some money. They mention the Batu Kawan Stadium but horrow fying new comes as one of us mention how bad the gravel there.

We decide to call upon a contact who might be able to help. Story to coclude in next chapter.

What is Durio zibethinus? Suppose to be a scientific name for DURIAN ~ KING OF FRUITS.
I had a chance to go to the orchard that day. Well not really an orchard. It is a stall in Balik Pulau. We went there night around 10pm I recall. Waking up the stall keeper ~ who happend to know a friend of mine. PAY about good RM100++ (I think it was more then that). And feast to its rich custard~ly flavor. Hins3... my car smell like durian now. Tomorrow morning cuci kereta (wash the car).

It was 4pm & I was woken up by my mobile. some one's ringing.
"Hakim jom BBQ."
Hahah finally some thing to do today. Off I go to the designated point. Behind Flamingo hotel. I could not find a car park close to the housing area. I end up parking next to the International School.

I brought some food (junk food mostly from 7E). But can never compare to what the girls brought. Mee goreng, ayam percik, satay. Wahh u girls really prepare for tonite. Never tell your boys aaa. Make us look bad with the food we brought.

Anyway we hang out till 11pm. Clean up our BBQ site and with lots of pictures. Linky here ok.

Company ade buat makan2 sikit. Director kami datang jauh dari Phlippines tengok2 anak buahnye di Malaysia. Di hotel tu pilihan buffetnya ok jugaklah. Ade Malay, Siam, Chinese & Japanese selection. Harga aku tak nak sebut tapi dijamin labih rendah dari E&O Penang. Cume kawan2 yang heavy drinkers boleh menangis di sini. Alcohol beverage kena bayar. Loooo nak free flow kena pergi E&O Penang lah tapi bayar lebih sikit ye. Adios....

17 April baru2 ini berlangsunglah 1Malaysia MAYC Gymkhana. CREWS Perak turun memberi solongan kepada organizer. Dan sebagai tanda penghargaan kami dapat test (dengan menaikki) competition cars for Gymkhana ni. Antara regulars yang hadir ~ Team YOSATO & Team Northern Garrage. Event berlangsung sampai 8 malam.
